CBS' Survivor Vanuatu

Chris Daugherty was born on August 29, 1970 in West Jefferson, Ohio. He is a graduate of Madison Plains High School and spent two years at Kentucky Christian College. Before becoming an employee of the Ohio Department of Transportation, Daugherty worked as heavy equipment operator for his father’s drainage company and was an employee of local sporting goods shop.

 

Chris won season 9 of Survivor; Vanuatu Islands of fire. Although, he struggled at the start of the show with the inability to cross the infamous "balance beam", Chris triumphed exactly when he needed to in order to outwit, outplay and outlast the remaining 6 women to finally win the million dollars. After Chris won the million dollars he Married his long time love Lorie Daugherty. Unfortunately, Lorie then started her battle with Breast cancer which makes this charity cause close to his heart. Lorie currently is in remission and they have built their dream house. Chris's friends describe him as Loyal, HILARIOUS, and intuitive. Chris hopes to become a teacher someday and enjoys playing basketball in his free time.
