Speed Channel's Bullrun

Elvis Strange along with his friend Steve were the dynamic duo competing as Teamstrange in season 2 of the reality show “Bullrun” on the Speed Channel. 

Elvis’ deadpan humor along with his steadfast calm and the interactive banter between teammates was legendary and seized the audience as Teamstrange raced Elvis’ 2001 Corvette throughout the season to a strong 3rd place finish in the finale.  Ironically, despite Elvis’ appearance his peculiar popularity seems to cross generational and stereotypical barriers.  Recently Elvis, along with teammate Steve, were on the cover and featured in a 7-page article in ‘Vette’ magazine.

Migrating from the East Coast, Elvis found Hollywood, a place where he can be comfortable in his own skin.  Always a unique individual he found a town and industry where his character developed without resistance.  Elvis has maintained a successful career in the film industry as a Production Designer/Art Director over the past 10 years.  Living behind the camera has afforded him a strong knowledge of the inner workings within the industry.  As a result of his distinct look he has been frequently asked to cross the line and appear on camera.  He can be seen in films such as “Dirty Love” and “MMC”, TV shows “Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman”, “Scream Queens”, “Angel” and “Drew Carey Show” and music videos for Big & Rich, Train, Neverstore, Meiko and Airbourne.

Currently, back in Hollywood, Elvis is creatively at work in his daytime career in the film industry.  However, Elvis’ 10-episode stint on “Bullrun” has helped to catapult his popularity and jumpstart his career on camera.  In his spare time Elvis is busy developing and pitching new show ideas.  So although we don’t know where next, we look forward to seeing Elvis Strange pop up on TV again soon.
