
Luke Adams was the first Deaf person to race around the world along with his mother, Margie, on Amazing Race Season 14 where they made it to the Final Three and fell short from winning Amazing Race. Now, Luke is back on Amazing Race: Unfinished Business once again with his mother, Margie, for the second chance!
Luke graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with Criminal Justice degree in May 2008. He became an advocate for the deaf community for the deaf community after the first run of Amazing Race and became a public speaker (or signer). He loves exploring new places and try new things!

Janet graduated from Pikes Peak Community College in May of 2005 with an Associates Degree in Sign language Interpreting. She has been a freelance interpreter in Colorado for the past 6 years. Janet and Luke met in the Spring of 2003 while she was doing some volunteer work for Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind and then again ( a month later) at a Mexican Restaurant she managed, when Luke and Margie came in for dinner. Janet and Luke them met once a week at a local library that summer so she could practice her ASL skills before he went off to college at RIT and she entered the Interpreter Program at Pikes Peak. The two kept in touch, became friends and Janet has been his interpreter since the summer of of 2008 while he was going through the interviewing process for Amazing Race. Janet enjoys dancing, raw style cooking and training for triathlons.
