Reality Rally is a "Fun for Funds" 3 day charity event in Southern California, created by "Survivor Gabon" contestant, Gillian Larson. One hundred percent of net proceeds benefit Temecula-based Michelle's Place Breast Cancer Resource Center.

Gillian read Michelle's Story years ago and was struck by the tragedy Michelle and her family faced because of a misdiagnosis. She vowed that if she ever had the opportunity to raise funds and awareness of what the Center provides, she would to help prevent another family facing that same tragedy. This vow is being fulfilled by Reality Rally and all those that make it possible.

On October 1st we launch and the Stars will start signing up to attend the event in May

As stars sign up they will be added to the Reality Rally Star Line Up

The required fundraising amount is $700 by the deadline date of March 12th to attend.  

Occasionally there might be a circumstance that requires them to drop out.  If this happens, they are taken off the website immediately.  

Reality Rally Star Line Up is always current.

You can be part of Reality Rally even if you cannot come and your donation will make a difference in someone's life.

If you want to help your favorite Star, help them raise their Fundraising minimum of $700.

  • Select the Stars name you'd like to donate to 
  • Click on Donate button on their Picture and Bio
  • International donations welcome as well.
  • Your business can sponsor a Star for a minimum of $700 and be highlighted on the Stars bio and linked to your company website.

Many of our events are family friendly:

  • Celebrity vs Public Lip Sync Showdown is family friendly and fun
  • To enter the race the minimum age is 14 but younger children can follow the racers or watch at any Challenge on the race route.
  • Celebrity Chefs Showcase is a lot of fun and if you are into cooking shows and competitions this is a great choice

There are many hotels in Temecula but these hotels have offered Reality Rally a discounted rate at their hotels. More may be added so check back. You MUST identify yourself as attending Reality Rally to get these rates.

Reality Rally is a 3 hr “Amazing Race” style game with 2 team choices:

  • 1 star and 3 team members
  • 4 team members and no star
  • Participants must be 14 and over with only one (1) minor per team
  • Completing Check Point Challenges all around Old Town Temecula
  • These challenges are put on by various Temecula organizations on Saturday in May

Single ticket price $50.00 you will be assigned to a team on April 1st and be notified.

They will need to purchase a single ticket and be sure to indicate they want to be on your team.

Team sign up starts October 1st 2017 and close on April, 2018 or when 80 teams are signed up which ever is first.

You will need to report to the Team Registration booth at the Temecula City Hall 41000 Main Street Temecula in Old Town.

  • Participants must check in as a team
  • Participants must be 14 and over with only one (1) minor per team
  • Check-in opens at 7:00am
  • All teams must be checked in by 8:45am
  • Be in front of City Hall Square for the Opening Ceremony & Game Kick off activities

Yes, each team member will sign one when they check in.

Your Ticket to Play and a whole lot of fun, a participant T- Shirt & water. 

Not included:

  • Other weekend event tickets. Can be purchased under Buy Tickets on Reality Rally
  • No food is provided
  • Eat before the game and pack a few snacks.

The game is designed for everyone 14 on up!  

We've had some teams in their 70's while being in a wheelchair play the game.

Teams certainly do run from Checkpoint to Checkpoint but running is not required to enjoy playing the game

  • Enjoy the game as you and your team would like too it's a fun day! 

Participants must be 14 and over with only one (1) minor per team

  • Teams do pick their own teammates but not their Star unless they are a sponsor or raise $1000 for Michelle's Place.
  • All team members sign up by buying a team ticket to play under The Event and Ticket sales starting October 1st 
  • Individuals can sign up as a single and we combine singles the week before the event and notify you.
  • Fundraising done by singles then gets combined that week and could qualify for a Game Advantage U-Turn if it is over $4000 combined.
  • Stars cannot pick their team mates.
  • Public teams are raising money to have the opportunity to choose a Star for their team.

Yes.

All Teams play against each other but the winning team from each division will win the division trophy.

"Fun Friends"

  • 3 friends and 1 star
  • 4 friends and no star

"Corporate Challenge"

  • Your team represents your company, is highlighted and linked to your business website, you can wear company gear and vie for the Corporate Cup.

"Battle of the Badges"

  • Your team represents First Responders, Fire, Police, EMT’s or the military branch you represent, you are acknowledged and thanked during the Opening Ceremonies and vie for the division trophy.

"Valley Intercity Challenge"

  • Your team represents your town's City Council in a friendly inter-city competition to vie for "The Floating Gnome Trophy".

"Charity Chalice"

  • Your team represents your Charitable organization and the good work you do.
  • Your team is linked to your organization on our website, you can wear your organization apparel and have a promtional booth at City Hall on Saturday May 5th .
  • You can promote your Charity but not raise funds for your Charity.

"Heart of Health"

  • Your team is anyone involved in medical or healthcare can race in this division.  

 

Yes.

But they cannot compete in any challenges or help you in any way.

We encourage family and friends following you or going to Checkpoints to cheer their team on, take photos and post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

All 4 team members must return to the Finish Line and report to the Finish Line Coordinator.

You will then be assigned a Substitute to finish the Game.

You will be given your Reality Rally Participant t-shirt at the game registration booth, which is to be worn Saturday
morning.

If your team makes a special T-shirt you may wear it.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes when you play the Game.

100% of the net proceeds are donated to Michelle's Place.

We do have some expenses but we are always diligent about spending.

 

Not required for Teams but we do encourage teams to raise funds as those funds will provide much needed resources and support for women, men and their families during a difficult time in their lives.

The funds raised also provides game advantages and a personal choice of their Reality Star to have on their team based on availability. 

All Reality Stars are required to raise $700 to attend Reality Rally.

March 31st is the deadline to choose a star.

Teams can select their stars as soon as they raise $1000.  

The sooner you fundraise, the better chance there is to choose your favorite Star from the Reality Rally Star Line Up. 

If a company donates a minimum of $500 to your team’s fundraising, we will advertise it on your Bio page, with their logo & company website. This provides them with company recognition and the global reach we have though our event.

  • A corporate match is a company that will match your fundraising amount on your Team fundraising page.
  • Volunteer Hours are what your company compensates you for your volunteer time.
  • When you send out your appeal email and posts, ask if anyone can give you a Corporate Match of funds raised.
  • Most companies do have that available if asked. You provide Gillian@realityrally.com with their contact information we will provide them with what they need.
  • Once the money is received it goes into your fundraising amount.
  • We have provided graphics (templates) for you to use to promote any events you may decide to do in your own town.
