Richard Hatch earned his place in pop culture history by winning the hit CBS original Survivor series in the year 2000. Hatch outwitted and outlasted 15 other contestants on the island of Pulau Tiga to earn $1,000,000. After winning "Survivor", Hatch wrote a book entitled 101 Survival Secrets that was published in November 2000. Hatch returned to "Survivor" in 2004 when he joined the cast of "Survivor All Stars" but was eventually voted off in the fifth episode.

Hatch has appeared and guest starred on numerous other television shows including "Dog Eat Dog," "The Weakest Link," "Battle of the Network Reality Stars," "Becker," and the Australian version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" Hatch also co-hosted "LIVE with Regis" and appeared in the 2006 film "Another Gay Movie."

Most recently, Hatch was a contestant on Donald Trump's 2011 Celebrity Apprentice where his directness and honesty stirred things up again, as usual.

Prior to Hatch's "Survivor" appearance, Hatch spent 15 years as a corporate trainer and motivational speaker specializing in interpersonal communications and conflict resolution. Hatch also spent five years in the United States Army and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Hatch is married to Argentinean Emiliano Cabral and awaits the day his marriage will be recognized in this country. Hatch is honored to work with many charitable organizations including Grassroot Soccer (GRS),Give Kids the World and Reality Rally for Michelles' Place. He is one of the ten original inductees into Survivor Hall of Fame.

Hatch currently resides in Newport, Rhode Island.
