Russell Hantz is the only player in Survivor history to play the game three times in just two years. He first played Survivor in 19th edition of Survivor: Survivor Samoa in 2009. He placed 2nd. Next he played Survivor in it's 20th edition: Survivor Heroes vs Villains in 2010. He placed 3rd. The shooting for the 20th season actually began 10 days after the filming of 19th season so none of the other all-stars players didn't know him. Russell played Survivor again in Survivor 22: Redemption Island in 2011. he placed 17th. He was considered to be one of the most devious constestants and cunning strategists to ever appear on the show.

Hero or Villain

Russell owns an oil company and is 38 years old. His personality speaks for itself when he proudly displays a missing tooth that he refuses to fix! This married father of four is visually memorable. Standing tall at only 5'6," he is built like a brick house with a bald head. At 200 pounds of pure muscle, Russell's solid figure and sharp tongue has helped him carve out a multi-million dollar business in the oil-tanking industry.

He will not be playing the Reality rally Amazing Race type game as he will be on the Question and Answer Panel on Saturday at 1pm on the City Hall Plaza

He now has his own show with A&E It will have seven one-hour episodes of Flipped..

He and his family buy houses at low prices, renovate and sell for a profit in the Houston area. The series is set to air later this year. Known as the entrepreneur on Survivor, Hantz's life as a house flipper is truly outrageous, real and genuine, which fits in nicely with our lineup of non-scripted original series states A&E
